Bee Free Bakery in downtown Cumberland, WI is a woman owned small business, family operated, & completely gluten free bakery. Jennifer Capra, the Owner & Happy Baker began making gluten free products eleven years ago in 2012 when her nephew was diagnosed with Celiacs disease. Many other family members were also struggling with gluten. Jennifer was previously a teacher & a nurse. She has enjoyed the science behind making gluten free products both taste & look delicious. During 2022, Jennifer stepped away from nursing to bake full time. She took special orders and went to farmers markets where she would sell out every time. In 2023 she found a space to build a certified kitchen and opened her “official” bakery in April!
