Working Hands Bakery is a small family business ran by a husband and wife. Jeff who is a mechanic by trade and Lisa who is a retired teacher started the bakery after their four children flew the nest. Jeff creates beautiful rustic breads that will comfort your hunger and leave you w/ a full belly! Lisa bakes the sweets from her mother’s recipe books and memories of childhood pastries. They started the bakery to bring the community together and to fulfill their need to share their love of food! Stop by Friday or Saturday between 8am-2pm and pick up a loaf of hearty bread and a box of sweets! They are located in Lee, Maine on route 6 in the old Grange building. You won’t regret it. We hope to see you at the bakery!
