Hi, my name is Lauren and I bake organic sourdough. When I am not baking I am working PRN as a surgical nurse. Five Loaves Micro Bakery offers freshly baked sourdough offerings serving Leeds/Birmingham, Alabama and surrounding areas with authentic, naturally leavened bread, focaccia, pastries and more. Bread is pre-ordered and available for "grab and go" pickup at 6924 Timber Trail Rd. Leeds, AL 35094. My breads are also available for local delivery. All bread products are handmade using organic, seasonal and ethically sourced ingredients – local whenever possible. Each loaf is fermented for a minimum of 20 hours using wild yeast sourdough culture and baked my commercial oven to a dark brown caramelization for deep flavor.
